Legendary vocalist Whitney Houston spent her final hours enjoying a meal and singing to herself before she was tragically discovered unresponsive in her bathtub, according to reports.
The world was left in shock when news broke that the iconic I Will Always Love You singer had passed away in February 2012 at the age of 48.
She left behind her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, whom she shared with former partner Bobby Brown. Whitney had been scheduled to attend the prestigious annual pre-Grammy Awards party hosted by her longtime mentor Clive Davis on the night she died.
Sources revealed that she enjoyed breakfast at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with her daughter, Bobbi, on the morning of February 11. She then retreated to Suite 434, where she ordered additional food and took some Xanax. This comes after horrifying details about Whitney's autopsy have resurfaced.

Whitney reportedly then received a phone call from her cousin, fellow vocalist Dionne Warwick, during which the pair discussed seating arrangements for the evening's event.
This was followed by another call from her mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston, which the publication described as a "cheerful and upbeat" conversation, reports the Daily Star.

Whitney reportedly told her assistant she had a sore throat and intended to take a bath ahead of the pre-Grammys party where she was scheduled to perform. It's believed the iconic singer then placed a room service order, enjoying a burger with chips as she drew her bath.
According to reports, her bodyguards could hear her singing to herself in the tub, but around 3pm they noticed she had fallen unusually silent. One worried guard called out to Whitney, but received no response.
After receiving no reply to his knocks on the bathroom door, the guard opened it to make the devastating discovery that the singer had died in the bath. Toxicology reports subsequently revealed that Whitney had a cocktail of cocaine, cannabis, Xanax, Benadryl, and Flexeril in her system.
Her autopsy report further revealed that she had advanced heart disease, with one of her arteries 60 per cent blocked.
The official cause of Whitney's death was ruled as accidental drowning, exacerbated by heart disease and chronic cocaine use.
