Wendy's has got the "bacon" this Tuesday, Dec. 30, which is also known as National Bacon Day.
The Dublin, Ohio-based hamburger chain is celebrating the occasion with 1-cent Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers on Tuesday, Dec. 30, for everyone in the Wendy's app.
Wendy's prides itself on its bacon supremacy. "At Wendy's, bacon isn't just a topping, it's a lifestyle," the company said in a statement. "From the iconic Baconator to the Breakfast Baconator to our bacon-loaded Breakfast Burrito, we literally own bacon."
The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is made with a fresh, never-frozen square beef patty topped with two strips of bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a toasted bun. "That's bacon done right," the company said in its statement.
