Tom Hardy is releasing his first rap album.
Hardy, a.k.a Frankie Pulitzer, is collaborating with supergroup Czarface for Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer.
Busta Rhymes and Method Man are among those to be featured on the album.

As Tom Hardy navigates the rumors of his possible MobLand firing, the Oscar-winning actor is ready to drop his first album. Under the rap persona Frankie Pulitzer, a.k.a. Face Puller, Hardy is collaborating with the supergroup Czarface — consisting of 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck — on Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer.

Among those to be featured on Hardy's surprising new venture are Busta Rhymes, EL-O, and Method Man.
This isn't Hardy's only foray into hip-hop: an unreleased mixtape made in 1999 by Tommy No. 1 was unearthed in 2018.

The career change for Hardy comes amid drama and speculation around his acting future. Last month, a Puck report said Hardy was being let go from his lead role on Paramount+'s MobLand. Ever since, there's been plenty of back-and-forth about whether Hardy is actually fired from the crime series, with the last update declaring that "things are being worked through creatively" for him to stay on board.
Produced by Guy Ritchie, MobLand stars Hardy as Harry Da Souza, the loyal fixer for the Harrigan crime family, which is led by powerful patriarch Conrad (Brosnan) and his conniving wife, Maeve (Mirren).
When first reporting that Hardy was fired, Puck said he was often late to set, attempted to change the show's dialogue, clashed with producers, and wasn't happy that MobLand was becoming more of an ensemble show.

"I love Tom, I think he's the most amazing actor,” Mirren recently declared, pushing back against talk of a beef between her and Hardy. "Different actors have different processes. I've learnt over the years that some people get to things faster. As long as what's on the screen is fantastic, I'm totally chilled with however someone gets there. Tom is a very special person. I think he's absolutely remarkable. My support of him is genuine and heartfelt."
If she really means that, then it sounds like a it's time for a single featuring The Dame and Frankie Pulitzer!
