Snoop Dogg’s Instagram update created an unexpected buzz after followers pointed out a noticeable detail about his recent post.

Since the festivities kicked in, the award-winning rapper has been on a back-to-back schedule. Among his recent activities was headlining Netflix’s NFL Christmas Game Day Holiday Halftime Party.

The 54-year-old rapper mesmerized the crowd with his electrifying 10-minute performance during the Detroit Lions’ clash with the Minnesota Vikings.

At the time, the hip-hop star brought out his classic hits such as “The Next Episode” and “Nuthin' but a ‘G’ Thang” and even performed alongside unexpected guests EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI from the hit K-pop musical film KPop Demon Hunters as well as Andrea Bocelli with his son Matteo and country singer Lainey Wilson, showcasing a variety of genres in one show.

Following his headline-making performance, Snoop Dogg once again caught the attention of his followers, this time for a more personal and unexpected reason.

In a post on his Instagram, the California-born rapper, singer and record producer gave fans a glimpse into his family life as he spent quality time supporting his niece at a basketball event.

He shared a video of himself in attendance at the game and even stole a few laughs by playfully showing off his own basketball skills in a lighthearted, comedic moment.

“My niece teachn me a few tricks. @crissajackson,” he wrote.

Instead of all eyes on the iconic rapper, fans couldn't help but point out the uncanny resemblance of his niece to Alicia Keys.

“She will definitely win Alicia Keys look-alike,” one wrote.

Some even mentioned that they thought it was the award-winning singer who was with Snoop Dogg.

“I thought that was Alicia Keys at first,” a commenter said.

“I was like, oh wow, Alicia Keys is very skilled with her hands,” another echoed.

“First glance, I thought she was Alicia Keys lol,” a fan added.

“I swore that was A-Keys,” a different user commented.

The same goes for another fan who wrote, “The way I thought Alicia Keys was a Harlem Globetrotter in her previous life.”

Coincidentally, the “Drop it Like It's Hot” hitmaker and Keys have worked on the same project before.

Snoop Dogg appeared in a cameo role in the “Fallin’” singer’s visual project KEYS: A Short Film, which premiered in 2021.

At the time, the rapper was also joined by Swae Lee, Lucky Daye and Keys’ husband Swizz Beatz for a surprise appearance.
