Paris Jackson fired back after a commenter criticized her tattoos on an E! News Instagram post
The singer and actress sarcastically replied, “i’m dirty even without the tattoos”
Jackson has more than 80 tattoos, including a chakra design she got on her chest in 2017
Paris Jackson isn’t letting an online critic’s opinion of her tattoos get under her skin.
The singer and actress, 28, responded to a commenter who criticized her extensive tattoo collection after E! News shared an Instagram post on Aug. 12 about Jackson meeting her mother for the first time. The post’s first photo featured a chakra-inspired design tattooed down the center of Jackson’s chest.
“She is gorgeous, but those tattoos just make her look dirty and takes away from her look,” the commenter wrote.

Jackson, 28, responded with a quip of her own.
“oh no what ever will i do 😰 (i’m dirty even without the tattoos),” she wrote.
The commenter doubled down, and replied, “@parisjackson like I said your gorgeous and it takes away. Why did you mess with perfection, you don’t mark up something perfect.”
Paris Jackson claps back at comment
Jackson has accumulated more than 80 tattoos over the years.
In an August 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Jackson revealed that her first tattoo was an impromptu design.

“It’s on my boob, it’s an alien,” she said, noting that she got it spontaneously when she was younger.
“I just wanted it — it’s kind of how they all are,” Jackson said of her tattoos, adding, “I’ve done a few of my own.”
Her iconic chest tattoo dates back to 2017, when Jackson revealed the design in an Instagram Stories snap. She shared photos of the chakra tattoo, which represents energy points, after getting the intricate design inked down the center of her chest.
One of her tattoos carries a particularly personal connection to her late father, Michael Jackson. In June 2017, Paris had “Applehead” tattooed in cursive across her left foot, a term of endearment used by people close to the “Thriller” hitmaker.

“With every step I take, you lift my foot and guide me forward,” Paris captioned an Instagram photo of the tattoo at the time, adding, “Love you.”
Jackson even tattooed herself during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She posted an Instagram photo showing herself working on a squiggle-shaped design below her right pinky toe, as well as a video of the freshly inked tattoo on her Instagram Stories.
