Nicole Kidman is bringing the drama for her latest British Vogue appearance, donning a red silk dress from Dolce & Gabbana for one of the looks. The actress stars in the magazine’s September 2026 issue ahead of her return as Gillian Owens in “Practical Magic 2,” reuniting with Sandra Bullock nearly three decades after the first movie.

Photographed by Venetia Scott and styled by Poppy Kain, Nicole Kidman embraced a series of striking looks for the accompanying shoot. However, one fiery red ensemble stood out as she posed atop the trunk of a vintage Chrysler.

Kidman slipped into a vibrant red silk-satin dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The glossy fabric caught the light throughout the shot, while its midi-length silhouette flowed loosely around her legs. The design featured long billowing sleeves with gathered cuffs, a cinched waist, and an oversized bow detail tied around the neckline.

Despite the dress falling well below her knees, Kidman managed to turn the elegant silhouette into a seriously leggy moment. Balancing on the back of the car, she lifted one leg and pulled the silky skirt high up her thigh, exposing nearly the entire length of her toned leg.

The actress finished the look with black leather Tory Burch heels and oversized Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. A diamond-set pinky ring from L’Atelier Nawbar and a gold and white-topaz Yvonne Léon ring added subtle sparkle. For her glam, the actress opted for tousled blonde hair. She then went with glowing makeup, with bold eyes and a bright red lip.

Another image from the shoot showed Kidman wearing the same red-hot dress beneath an oversized black and gray Dolce & Gabbana coat. She posed outside a door near the pillars, giving the silky number a completely different feel.

Between its glossy scarlet fabric and Kidman’s thigh-baring pose, the Dolce & Gabbana dress delivered plenty of impact while maintaining the shoot’s polished, old-school glamor.
