Some fans are convinced they've worked out who Melania Trump's alleged "body double" is after Donald Trump was spotted stepping off Air Force One with the other woman on Tuesday, August 11.
The 56-year-old hasn't been photographed publicly with her husband since July 19, when they both attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in New Jersey. The famously low-profile first lady has previously fueled speculation that she employs a body double for public appearances, including one recent occasion that left some convinced a particular staffer may be standing in for President Trump's wife before the cameras.
Numerous online investigators and amateur sleuths now suspect that Trump's "most beautiful" aide, 31-year-old Margo Martin, could be the purported body double "pretending to be Melania," having been seen alongside him on multiple occasions.

On X, one user posted a photograph of the 80-year-old president standing next to a woman in dark sunglasses who looked remarkably similar to his wife, captioned "Hey @margomartin .. Is this you?" Another X user responded to the post, "It is.."

Others chimed in with remarks such as, "Who does she thing she's fooling? Good Gawd," and, "Margo is busted!" The original poster added, "Margo often works as a body double for Melania. Interesting," with another responding, "So, definitely NOT her."

Margo, who President Trump once dubbed "the most beautiful photographer in the world," is frequently confused with Melania on social media due to their similar hair color and fashion choices. This confusion has been amplified by the fact that Margo typically wears oversized or dark sunglasses, fueling speculation that she might be a substitute for Melania.
The "Melania body double" theory first surfaced in 2017 after some observers spotted inconsistencies in Melania's facial expressions and demeanor, along with the usually high-heel-wearing first lady unexpectedly appearing in flat shoes.
On several occasions, critics have pointed out subtle differences in her appearance, which is frequently concealed behind large, dark sunglasses. Speculation surrounding Melania continues to intensify as both she and her son Barron Trump, 20, have remained largely out of the public eye.

During the initial seven months of Trump's second term, Melania has made only approximately 38 public appearances as first lady. Melania was not present during Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral, nor was she in attendance at the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.
Speculation intensified after she failed to appear in a candid family photo at the Trump family golf club in New Jersey. Furthermore, Melania and her staff's offices are practically non-existent at the White House, having been demolished when the East Wing was torn down to accommodate Trump's 90,000 square foot ballroom construction project.
