King Charles stuns staff with sweet gesture - as no one has ever 'seen anything like it'

King Charles left a member of staff completely taken aback with one of his actions, according to reports.
A former royal chef has spoken out about his experience working for His Majesty, explaining why his time serving the royals proved to be a "massive learning curve" in his culinary career. Visen Anenden served as Head Chef for King Charles and Queen Camilla for nine-and-a-half years, beginning his role in the early 2000s.
He described working for the royal household as an extraordinary experience and discussed how the King, who has a deep commitment to organic food and heritage produce, actively shared his expertise with the kitchen staff. It comes as the King's "close bond" with Princess Anne was recently exposed.

Speaking on behalf of Heart Bingo Online, Anenden said, "You will never be able to work like that again. In the restaurant world, you do get fresh produce every now and again, but once you get fresh produce literally less than a mile from where you're working, and something is pulled straight out of the ground, it's on another level. That's freshness within itself. Just the most simple things, like a carrot, potato or asparagus, are just on a different level."

He then revealed, "When I first started there, I'd never seen anything like it before. It was an amazing learning curve for me as a chef. You actually realize what heritage produce is, what seasonality is, and what produce sourced locally is.

"Most importantly, you had the man himself, King Charles, who was a phenomenal teacher, teaching the chefs what fresh produce is all about and understanding how it's executed."
He also offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at what preparing meals for royal birthdays entails, recalling Charles' milestone 60th birthday celebration, which took place in 2008.
He said, "I did Charles' 60th, which was huge and a massive deal. The event for that was phenomenal, and the organization that went into it. Everything was sourced from the estate. All the food is really, it's all off the estate, and nothing is brought in. It's all seasonal, too."

It comes after Gavin Ashenden, a former chaplain to Queen Elizabeth II, accused the King of violating the oath he swore at his Coronation to uphold the Christian Faith.
The accusation follows Buckingham Palace's decision to alter the monarch's traditional title in this year's Sovereign Grant Annual Report, replacing "Defender of the Faith" with "Protector of the Space for Faith within the Multi-faith Nation."
Ashenden, who served as a royal chaplain for nine years, has expressed deep alarm at the change. Ashenden departed his role after criticizing a church service in which a Muslim student had been invited to recite from the Koran.
He slammed King's actions, stating that Charles "has deserted Christian allegiance, turned his back on his Coronation oath [and] repudiated the support and promotion of a Christian culture."
