Jacksonville Jaguars' Arik Armstead and Wife Mindy Are Expecting Baby No. 4: 'We Love a Big Family' (Exclusive)

Mindy Armstead revealed her fourth pregnancy during an episode of PEOPLE's WAG World

She and the Jacksonville Jaguars star both come from large families, so they say their family's expansion feels natural

Their fourth baby is due in November during peak football season, marking their first in-season pregnancy

Team Armstead is expanding!

Mindy Armstead made a surprise announcement on the latest episode of PEOPLE's WAG World that she's pregnant and expecting her fourth baby with her husband, Arik Armstead of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

At the start of the interview, Mindy, who shares daughters Ayla, 3, and Amiri, 5, and 15-month-old son Audemar Kristian with the NFL star, 32, excitedly corrected host Skyler Caruso, who initially introduced her as a mom of three.

"Actually, mom of four. We've got one on the way!" Mindy, 37, says in a WAG World episode released on Thursday, June 25. "So three and a half, I would say, right now," she adds with a laugh.

Expanding their family feels like a natural step for the couple, both of whom grew up surrounded by siblings and the energy of large households.

"We're really excited. We love a big family. I'm one of five. He's one of four," she shares of her and her husband's siblings, adding, "So although we weren't originally planning it, it feels right."

Mindy and the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end wed in June 2020. They welcomed their first child, Amiri, in February 2021, their second daughter, Ayla, in June 2022, and their third baby, son Audemar, in March 2025.

"Honestly, it's going so fast. I keep forgetting that I'm even pregnant," she says on WAG World. "I mean, besides this big belly that's getting in the way when I'm getting dressed — there's so much going on with football, my career and the kids that it's really easy to just forget."

"I'm not checking the apps to see like, how big is the baby today? Is it an apple? Is it a pineapple? What's going on?" shares Mindy, who's a dual-boarded psychiatrist and co-founder of the Armstead Academic Project with her husband. "It's been really exciting, but going fast."

Arik, the 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Year winner who's gearing up for his 12th season in the league after being selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, is also ready for this next chapter with his wife of six years.

"He's really excited," says Mindy of her husband. "I think he would have 100 kids if I let him. He's always saying, 'It's up to you,' but he's a really great dad, and I think him being one of four, he always wanted more than three."

"I think he's really happy that I agreed to it, and here we are," she adds with a laugh. "I'm one of five. I don't think I ever want five kids, but I love it. Three sisters, I have a brother, and we're each other's best friends. I can't imagine life in other ways, so I want that for my kids."

While Arik isn't ready to reveal the sex of their fourth baby just yet (although Mindy knows!), she is excited to share their anticipated due date.

"In November," the mom of three says. "I went early with my last [child], our last baby was a boy, I went at 36 weeks, and he was 10 lbs. So I'm hoping it'll be early November, not late November, but we'll see," she adds, noting how it will be peak football season.

"We've always planned better. I've always had out-of-season babies, so this will be interesting," she says. "But it might be exciting too because I'll be able to enjoy Christmas time, New Year's, hopefully playoff games, and Super Bowl not pregnant — so I'm into it!"
