A Polish influencer has raised a record-breaking $76 million for a cancer charity during a marathon livestream.

On April 26, Piotr Hancke, a YouTuber known online as “Latwogang,” concluded a star-studded, 9-day livestream, during which he amassed a staggering sum for the Cancer Fighters Foundation, a Polish organization that supports children with cancer.

The total amount raised — over 276 million Polish złoty, or over $76 million — quickly soared past the previous Guinness World Record for money raised during a livestream fundraiser, which was previously set by ZEvent, a project by two French streamers, which earned over $19 million last year.

According to the BBC, Hancke broadcast from his flat in Warsaw, during which he streamed the song “I'm still here” by Polish rapper Bedoes 2115 with Maja Mecan on loop. The track was written as a diss song aimed at a rival, but its subject is cancer.

His livestream also included celebrity appearances, including from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, tennis star Iga Świątek and Polish soccer player Robert Lewandowski. The Guardian reported that over 1.5 million watched the livestream's finale.

In a statement released to Instagram after the end of the livestream, Hancke said that he did not plan for any media interviews or appearances regarding the fundraiser.
